Most seniors have been at Mission Bay High School from their freshman year to their senior year. Now the seniors will be off to college and starting new lives on their own. After years at Mission Bay all, high school will finally be over for them. Some people feel like the feeling is bittersweet and some feel happy, all the way. For the students, it must be exciting to finally be done with high school and become independent. Now students have their own choice of whether they want to go to school or not. Instead of your parents waking you up every morning making sure that you go to school, some people have a choice on whether they want to go to college or not. Seniors have had a long year here at Mission Bay, and within the next few days it will all be done with.
Different seniors here at Mission Bay have different feelings about ending high school and how they choose to pursue their dreams, everyone had different ideas of what they wanted to do after high school is officially over. There are so many careers out there to pursue and so many choices to make after high school. Some seniors may say this year was their hardest year out of all high school years, and some say it was the easiest.
When senior Marcus Mayfield was asked by the Beachcomber how he feels about high school being over and what he will be doing after high school is over, he replied “I am so happy all of this is finally over, but I will definitely miss it. After high school I want to continue working and maybe become a half-time student at a community college.” Senior Javante Limbrick, tell us “After high school, I will be moving out of state and going to college, senior year was definitely not the easiest, but it wasn’t very hard either. My senior year was a great experience.” Another senior, Robert Vigil says “Senior year wasn’t all that hard, if you passed all your classes in your previous years and you don’t have to take any classes over, there a very few classes required during your senior year so it will make your schedule and everything easier.”
