Briana Reese, a girl from Jackson Mississippi, wants to be known through her words in writing. She is an individual who works hard for what she wants and is a student eager to learn. Briana has been a student athlete throughout her Mission Bay years. The sport she plays is softball in which she considers her teammates members of her family.

She says, “My teammates have always had a way of making me laugh even when I was in the foulest of moods.” Briana has always been a people’s person and is eager to make new friends. Ms. Reese also loves listening to poems; she goes to Poetry Slam, a club that’s in Mrs. Romero’s class during lunch on Thursdays. Briana has numerous friends with whom she is well-acquainted with, but her best friend, Whitney McElvy has been there for since sophomore year. In all this is her first year in Journalism and she’s excited to finally start writing stories.
