The New Katy Perry

Singer song-writer Katy Perry has done it again. Her new single ROAR has been topping the billboard chart since its release August 10, 2013 currently ROAR is in the top five at number 4. ROAR was described as the summer song of the year with its power pop feel made it the perfect song to rock out to. Before releasing ROAR Katy made a series of teasers
- Burns her blue wig
- Burns her peppermint candy outfit
- Shows a lion eating something with furthers then shows release date
The video for ROAR has been the latest successful video that she has release but still not topping her video for Wide Awake.
Many of Katy’s fans are happy to see this new Katy. After releasing her new album Prism her fans went on to say that this is a more serious and deeper Katy, but she is still keeping true to herself and still has that feel from her One of the Boys album. The first look at this Katy was when Katy released Firework, and Wide Awake these two singles have been one of her most successful after I kissed a Girl, and Hot n Cold. We at the Beachcomber talked to one of Katy Perry’s fans, Viridiana Preciado.
Q: Why do you like Katy Perry?
I like her because she inspiring to me and other kids.
Q: What makes her different from other artists?
That she stays true to herself she doesn’t let anyone tell her who she needs to be.
Q: When ROAR came out how did you feel?
I was happy and exited .
Q: You heard the whole Prism album?
Yes!!!!!
Q: What are your favorite songs on the album?
Unconditionally, Legendary Love, Double Rainbow, I’ve got to be completely honest I love all her songs.
Katy’s kitty cats have proven that they stick to their pop queen and are happy with this new artist that she is becoming. We at the beachcomber hope that Katy’s career becomes bigger than what it is and that her headliner tour has a great outcome.
