Another Take on New Year’s Resolutions

Now that the holidays are over and it’s a new year some of us have a resolution that they want to stick to. It may be really hard but no matter what we have to believe that we can do it and we are strong enough. We need to put in a lot of dedication and push ourselves no matter how difficult it could be. You may get really frustrated but its OK it takes time to get used to it. It’s all about just making it a habit.
One of the popular New Year’s resolutions is to lose weight and start eating healthy along with an exercising plan. Me personally that has been my new year’s resolution for as long as I could remember. I always quit by the third day just because it was super difficult. This year I have decided to really stick to it. It’s hard but you just have to live day by day and not think about how long it will actually take you to lose weight or live up to what your resolution actually was.
You have to look at it as not being on a diet but as just eating healthy. “It is really hard to not crave the bad food around me,” said Juliette Arreguin. You will get cravings but usually when this happens its good to eat a fruit or some kind of snack that does not contain fattening ingredients for example nuts, trail mix, and there is many other things that are healthy and are pretty delicious.
As I said it is really hard to stick to your new year’s resolution. By this time usually most of the people that started out the year with their resolution have not stuck to it. There are rarely people that actually will stick to it till the end. That is when you are really dedicated. All you have to do is really strong and not quit on your new year’s resolution.
